AH, SANITY
This man should be the Democratic presidential nominee. Unfortunately, my party of registration didn't think him a fit candidate for president, a mere four years after he was the vice presidential nominee of the same party. What a bunch.
A May 7 New York Daily News editorial quotes Joe Lieberman on the prisoner abuse issue. The News first notes:

That's worth remembering as we scourge ourselves. Meanwhile, let's also remember the rest of Lieberman's wisdom:Wisdom? What a wonderful, old-fashioned notion -- of which we could use a lot more of nowadays. Instead, Democrats give us John Kerry.
Lieberman is quoted again:
"I hope as we go about this investigation we do it in a way that does not dishonor the hundreds of thousands of Americans in uniform who are a lot more like Pat Tillman and Americans that are not known, like Army National Guard Sgt.
